Job Introduction
Apprentice week has begun and Gleeson are recruiting multiple bricklayer apprentices’ to join our passionate, collaborative and respectful teams out on site. Reporting directly to the Site Manager you will be carrying out general bricklaying duties on all stages of the construction of Gleeson developments.

Role Responsibility
- Working as part of a team (gang) of bricklayers on all stages of construction from sub-structure to super-structure
- Work is often at height on scaffolding, therefore you need to be ‘good with heights’
- Ensuring the brickwork of the finished home is of a high standard and presentable
- Maintain tools and materials
- Be an effective part of the site team
- Committed and hardworking, as at times the work can be physically demanding
Working Hours:
- 39 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm
- Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm
- One day per week or block release at a local College to obtain a Level 2 in Bricklaying
The Ideal Candidate
- Enjoys outdoor working
- Physically capable
- Must have a minimum Grade 4 / C GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English
- Prepared to travel to site
- Access to own transport (desirable)
