Job Introduction
Reporting directly to the Site Manager you will be carrying out general carpentry and joinery duties on all stages of the construction of Gleeson Homes developments.
Role Responsibility
- Working as part of a team of joiners on all stages of construction
- Work is often at height on scaffolding, therefore you need to be ‘good with heights’
- Undertaking snagging and remedials
- Maintaining of tools and materials
- Being an effective part of the site team
- Committed and hardworking, as at times the work can be physically demanding
Working Hours
- 39 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm
- Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm
- One day per week at a local College to obtain am Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery
The Ideal Candidate
- Enjoys outdoor working
- Physically capable
- Must have a minimum Grade C GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English
- Prepared to travel to site
