Job Introduction

Gleeson Homes have an excellent opportunity for a In House Resourcer, this will be a Fixed Term Contract over 12 Months. The successful candidate will be responsible for searching and sourcing ‘Top Talent’ for the business across Early Careers, volume roles and experienced hires, whilst continually assisting and supporting the meeting of the resourcing agenda and the delivery of a strong candidate experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working in close collaboration with the Talent Resourcing Partner and colleagues within the HR team to implement Talent Acquisition policies and processes.
  • Building effective relationships with hiring managers to fully understand and assist with their Resourcing requirements and ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent.  
  • Manage the end to end candidate experience to create a positive and engaging proposition for current and potential employees.
  • Continually review the impact that live job role adverts are having in relation to attracting candidates and develop effective campaigns to best promote roles at Gleeson.
  • Design and prepare suitable social media initiatives to be implemented in collaboration with the Talent Resourcing Partner to represent the Gleeson brand, culture and model positively for attracting new talent to the business.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of information related to candidates using the Applicant Tracking system.
  • Organise the selection processes including application questions, online testing, telephone and video interviews to assist the hiring manager with having the strongest and most suitable candidates. 
  • Assisting the Talent Resourcing Partner with the management of recruitment agencies and other suppliers.
  • Preparing regular updates and reports for the Talent Resourcing Partner and Head of Organisational Development.  
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business to ensure effective and consistent social media recruitment for their vacancies and strong positioning of the Gleeson brand on job boards and in the market.
  • Assisting and supporting the Talent Resourcing Partner with delivering key projects within the Resourcing agenda, relating to Early Talent, Volume recruiting, experienced roles and general Employer Brand/reputation
  • Planning and delivery of the recruitment process for Early Careers Programmes attending open days and careers fairs when required.
  •  Advising and coaching hiring managers on best practice for interviews and assessment.
  • Proactively participate in developing the reputation of the In-House resourcing team as a centre of excellence with the HR team and the wider business.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working in internal or agency recruitment
  • Experience  of interviewing candidates
  • Candidate attraction and retention knowledge
  • Knowledge on how to maximise social media platforms
  • PC Literate including all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Highly organised
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Drive to deliver a positive value adding service to internal and external stakeholders
