Gleeson Homes have an exciting opportunity for an experienced receptionist to join our fast-paced Area Office team providing key administrative support and being the face of the business for any visitors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answer all calls and respond professionally and or forward to the required person
  • Ensure the signing in log is always prepped for the following day/week
  • Keep the reception area tidy and presentable
  • Ensure the office printers are stocked with paper and check ink levels
  • Check the printers are not left with printouts waiting to be collected
  • Paper towels are checked & replenished throughout the day, in bathrooms and kitchen areas
  • Check bathrooms have a stock of loo roll and hand cleaning liquid
  • Ensure all office operatives are maintaining a clean desk space
  • Check the kitchen stocks of tea, coffee, sugar & milk daily
  • Ensure the fridge is cleared out of unused food every Friday pm
  • Monitor and replenish stationary stocks
  • Storage areas are kept in order and tidy
  • Ensure all window blinds are open each day
  • Ensure all storage cupboards are closed at the end of the day
  • Identify external facilities are in order, lights, signage, cleanliness, car park & gate & report accordingly
  • Manage & distribute swipe cards/keys
  • Office lighting is all working, report any faults to the build dept  
  • Manage the office H&S file
  • Manage the office staff birthday cards
  • Prepare all 12-month anniversary cards
  • Prepare any payment docs to treasury 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working as a receptionist in a professional working environment
  • Used to working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Administrative experience essential
  • Organisational skills
  • Well presented with excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and a good knowledge of Word & Excel
