Security Manager
Job Introduction
Gleeson Homes have 60 house building sites across the North of England, and due to massive expansion we are looking to create our own Security Department. We are now recruiting for a Security Manager to help us build this department at our head office in Sheffield.

Role Responsibility
Site security has a pivotal role within any construction trade preventing the theft and/or vandalism of onsite equipment and supplies. Your role as Security Manager would include and not be limited to ensuring that preventative measures are put in place and monitored in order to ensure that site facilities are secure and to inform Site Managers and/or other members of staff of any security issues.
- Resourcing and implementing the initial setup of security measures i.e. installation of cameras on sites
- Employ in line with the recruitment department a team of security technicians to formulate a security department
- Regular monitoring of security measures that have been implemented and reporting back to Site Managers and/or other relevant staff members regarding security issues
- Ensuring that there is a local security company for every site that can be called in the instance of emergency
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience within a security background (required)
- Sufficient technical knowledge
- Management experience
